Adding a ringtone delay to a MIDI file via QuickTime Pro
Tutorial by Baron Sekiya
I wanted an audio delay before my ringtone so the vibration alert would give me a warning before the noise starts. Motorola phones have this feature and I don't know why LG Electronics left out this audio delay. If possible I like to answer my phone before the ringer goes off, it's just more polite that way. Make sure the ringer volume is at maximum to activate the Vib & High setting.
The blank MIDI file included will add an eight second delay before the audio starts. If you want a longer delay just paste the blank audio in there a second time, you can always Cut the blank section of your ringtone to suit your tastes.
Note: Keep the total file size of your ringtone to 20K or less or it won't import into your cellphone.

8. Press the CREATE link and send yourself the MIDI file by adding a New Slide From PC, choose WITH AUDIO find your MIDI file and send it.
9. When you get the ringtone via Picture Message, view the message, Save Sound file, you can rename it. Go to your Sounds settings and choose this new sound as your ringtone.
